Reil:distant skies

A remake of an old piece I really liked. I had a lot of fun designing the wings, though a lot less fun trying to make them look symmetrical. The grain of the paper helped the look of the drawing out a lot.

Spreading the ever-growing wings of his soul, Reil Angelus remembers the people he's come to know in his first year at St. Touterelle's; each spreading their own wings. Where will life's breeze take him next?

A remake of an old piece I once drew, years and years ago. That piece has disappeared in the midsts of time, but the feel stuck with me, so I wanted to bring it back. Originally Reil sat on a rock in an overgrown field, but I had just done a windy field not too long ago. The focus anyways was on Reil's wings, which I had a lot of fun drawing.
