UGH. I hate this one. The colours are terrible, the character designs suck, the background is gaudy. UGH. The only part I really like is the HUD I designed, even though that needs more bars and meters. The original writeup was fun to imagine and write though

----

Scissors, with its wealth of anti-air attacks is perfectly suited to counter almost all of Paper's aerial based diving moves. Focus on trying to keep your opponent off the ground with sweeps and low fakes. Once your opponent is in the air, most of your special attacks will be able to take Paper down with ease.

Though this strategy has a distinct advatage against Paper players, one will have difficulty fighting against Rock, whose ground based attacks will make for a challenging fight. Your anti-air attacks just will not work against most Rock players, who tend to stay close to the ground. Scissors players will simply not have a chance against the hidden character, Gun, who is capable of covering nearly all scenarios with ease.

Today's word, also from a UWGamers member, was "winner". I originally wanted to draw the picture by hand, a little mini comic with the scissors guy dashing at the paper guy, but I had a lot of fun doing this. The backgound was NOT fun though, and I really wish Y! would let you use photos ;-;

The theme for today, other than Rock Paper Scissors, of course, was doujin fighters, particularly Eternal Fighter Zero and MeltyBlood. The screen resolution I used was 320*240, EFZ's native resolution, with 24bit true colour. What that means is that I was free to use any colour I wanted in the background, (which I referenced a photo for, of course). The HUD was lots of fun to make, and was based a bit on EFZBSE and MeltyBlood's very classy displays. I was going to do status portraits, but space didn't really allow, yeah?

Hope everyone enjoys!
